This month's theme is A Vintage Christmas. Now did I get the perfect design team challenge for me, or what? I was definitely inspired! Here's my creation:
I decided to incorporate the theme through the use of colors. I pulled out my Forest Moss and Festive Berries Distress inks and squished them onto a crafting mat. I never thought these colors would mix, but when I tried it for the first time, the brown colorations that resulted were amazing. I also used kraft card stock to give it more of an aged dimension.
I added a sparkly green piece of mesh to the corner to give it some texture and brighten the card, and used STAMPlorations's Joyful stamp to ink that sketchy wreath. Their sets are perfect for creating one-of-a-kind vintagey cards. The sentiment is from the same set.
I'm also sending this card over to the following challenges;
Simon Says Stamp: Christmas/Holidays
