Valentine's Day might be gone, but I just can't make myself stop with all things glittery and pink.
Luckily there are some new releases over at STAMPlorations today that are making it easy for me to keep on with my love of... well... love.
Hop on up to the STAMPlorations blog to see Romantic Expressions 1, Romantic Expressions 2, and Romantic Expressions 3 in action.
Because I wanted my design to be all full of elegance, I broke out the embossing gun and sprinkled on some platinum powder.
I also used a sketch from Sunday Stamps.
Some foiled papers brought the elegance to the forefront of the overall design. It's textured and lovely and I just want to keep running my hands over it and twisting it in the sunlight. That's not weird - right?

Growing in Unity - Day 2 + Prizes
What did the fox say?!
Ever since I designed this card for my second day of Growing in Unity guest designer posts, I've had that little earworm playing on repeat in my head.
How fleepin' cute are these fleepin' foxes? Fleepin' cute. That's how cute.
When I saw them in the Warmth of Winter Kit of the Month, I'm pretty sure I actually let out a little bit of squeeeeal before immediately inking them up.
I used my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors to paint it up and added some splashy colors to my winter scene. If you haven't invested in a set of watercolors, I would HIGHLY recommend these because they're so vibrant! The trees also came from the same kit.
I didn't want to add any sentiment to muddy up the card, so I just left it blank. I think it's a perfect design for an anniversary, Valentine's Day or just an all-around general lovey-dovey card.
I'm going to play along at
2 Crafty Critter Crazies - Anything goes featuring a critter
Simon Says Stamp - Stamp It

Guest Designer - Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers
Have you all played along in the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers challenges? They're a challenge blog that focuses on both the sweet and snarky side of things. I love looking through their design team's makes each week because the gallery just cracks me up as I scroll through.
This week, they invited me to be a guest designer for their latest challenge: Y is for Yippee.
I watercolored a sweet image from The Bee's Knees for STAMPlorations: Two of Us stamp set and paired it with a snarky sentiment from Big Grins by Becca Cruger for STAMPlorations Funny Kinda Love stamp set.
I definitely brought the snark this week and hope you all will visit and play along with all those hilarious Sistahs at Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!

Love is in the Air - Crazy Bird Style
Love love love. September is usually the month when I reflect upon love, because the 15th is my anniversary to my wonderful boyfriend.
Today, I'm going to show off the card that I made for him using the Crazy Birds stamp set.
I colored these critters with some Copic markers and then I added a 3D heart sticker (also NBUS) before "stitching the whole thing with a Pitt Artist Pen.
Did you notice that I masked the birds so their beaks were touching? They're kissing, of course! ;)
And then for the sentiment: As many of you know, I may be a bit *ahem* quirky, crazy, funky, silly... So this seemed like the perfect way to say HEY! It's me! And I love you!
I'm also sending this over to the Craft Stamper Magazine Take it Make it Challenge - Anything Goes and Little Red Wagon Challenge - Clean and Simple.
We just spent the weekend up on Minnesota's North Shore celebrating. :)

I just love these stinkin' birds. They are so expressive and I keep seeing crazier and crazier cards with them. Especially now that there's an expansion pack with fun accessories.
I've not got to use the bird before and so they are perfect for Miss Darnell's NBUS challenge. What's NBUS, you ask? Well I will counter your question with one of my one: WHAT ROCK HAVE YOU BEEN LIVING UNDER?! It's only the coolest challenge this side of the interwebs. It stands for Never Been Used Schtuff and it gives you incentive to use that crafty thingamabob you've been hoarding.
You can find all of the details and the awesome list of sponsors over on Darnell's blog.
